MyLang is a web-based language learning platform that allows users to read foreign language texts with intelligent assistance including word translations, definitions, and vocabulary tracking.

Our service includes:

• • Personal vocabulary tracking and management
• • Article library and content management
• • Account synchronization across devices
• • Premium features (for paid subscribers)

Account Creation:

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use:

You agree not to:

• • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code or content
• • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
• • Use automated scripts or bots to access our service
• • Share your account credentials with others
• • Upload copyrighted content without proper authorization

Content Responsibility:

You are solely responsible for any content you upload or import into MyLang. You warrant that you have the necessary rights to use such content and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.

Free and Premium Services:

MyLang offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription and are billed monthly, annually, or once as selected during signup.

Payment and Billing:

• • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• • Payment is due in advance of each billing cycle
• • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• • Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation and Refunds:

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund if our service fails to meet consumer guarantees. Refunds for subscription fees are generally not provided for change of mind, but will be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical issues or service failures.

Your Content:

You retain ownership of content you upload to MyLang. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

Third-Party Content:

We may provide access to third-party translation services and content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of such content complies with applicable copyright and other laws.

Service Availability:

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

Translation Accuracy:

MyLang provides automated translations and definitions as learning aids. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of translations for any specific purpose. Users should verify important translations independently.

Australian Consumer Law:

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with our service, you are entitled to a cancellation and refund, or compensation for loss and damage. You are also entitled to have the service repaired or replaced if the service fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Termination:

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms:

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
